Arkansas is not Hillary Clinton's home state

OK, I don't want to get into politics here, but I'm watching tonight's Super Tuesday coverage (along with coverage of the tornadoes that hit eastern Arkansas and Memphis).

The commentators on both MSNBC and CNN keep saying "Hillary Clinton wins her home state of Arkansas." But that's not true. Not even close to it. The only time she's been in Arkansas since heading to the White House with Bill is for funerals, the opening of his Presidential Library and for fund raisers. She's not been back to an Arkansas football game, or to Oaklawn, or even to hang out with old friends in Little Rock. Every single time she's been here, it's been because she had to be here.

She's a Senator from New York. New York is her home state, not Arkansas.

And speaking of tornadoes and Clinton ... a tornado hits Clinton, Ark., on the day Hillary won the state's primary. That can't be a good omen for her campaign.

Good to see you all (sorry, y'all) voted for the hometown girl.

F that. I voted Obama.

Time to kick the Bush/Clinton dynasty out of the White House. Plus he's closer to my age. Screw the Baby Boomers.

She may not be from there, but Arkansans sure seem to love her

I booed the Barack supporters outside a polling station.
It was a drive-by booing, but a booing. I'm starting to get a little sick of them being a bunch of whiny bitches.
I'm not from Arkansas, but I consider it my home state. Even when I lived in Tennessee, I considered Arkansas my home state.
So by Scott's logic, living in a place for 18 years doesn't make it home. Or something like that, I think. Plus to slam her for not visiting doesn't take in the logisitcal considerations of a sitting first lady traveling. I know plenty of people in Little Rock, who went to visit her in the White House for precisely that reason.
Barack is the most unqualifed mainstream candidate to run for President that I can remember.
I got a dollar that says Scotty voted for Perot.

By "unqualified" you mean "not yet part of the system that is built on giving us more of the same" Pep?
I voted, not FOR Obama, but against Hillary. Mandatory healthcare for everyone will be just as grand as every other government controlled enterprise, which is to say it would blow and only serve to waste more money but not delivering on the promise.

I'd say Obama's time in the Senate makes him more qualified than Bill's years as governor of Arkansas made him to be president.

No, I didn't vote for Perot. I voted for Obama because he's closer to my age. Plus I don't want two families holding the White House for more than 20 years.

No by unqualfied it means not to have the practical experience to get things done.
As someone else noted, you put Hope in the place of Freedom and Obama is basically saying the same things as Bush. All sound and fury with no substance.
Four years in the senate trumps 12 years as a governor?
Really?
Dear God, Scotty has become an Obamatron!

"All sound and fury with no substance."

That's every single candidate. Every. Single. One.

Peppas, how'd you cast your vote?
