• Why isn't there any place in town that serves a mint julep? Is it too much to ask for just one bar or restaurant to make that drink one day per year!?!

• Before the post position draw, I was sure Big Brown was going to be in the mix. I might add him to the exacta and trifecta boxes, but coming out of gate No. 20, he's in a horrible spot. If he charges out of the gate to get into good position, he'll be gassed at the finish. If he lays back, he'll be in a horrible position with a slew of traffic to fight through on the backstretch.

Said Press Secretary might be waiting for one of his good friends to buy him the hat since said Press Secretary's birthday is in just 34 days...Hint Hint....It's a big racing weekend here too...the Gold Cup...which I guess is steeple Chase...but more importantly an chance for people to get really drunk...I won't be attending tho...because I am a responsible person now...said Press Secretary says while snikering...
