As most of y'all know, today is my wedding anniversary. Of course, given the amount of alcohol consumed at the reception (you know who you are), perhaps you don't remember July 15, 2000, all that well.
Anyway, I just wanted to thank Jen for eight great years of marriage. Every day I'm thankful you came into my life.
I love you.
(This counts as a card, right? Or do I still need to run to the Hallmark shop?)

You are my world, Scottie Faldon.

What a beautiful card, and frankly a beautiful gift, you've provided Jen for your anniversary. Oh to be blogged about on your special day. We should all be so lucky.
Indeed, I forgot the day due to said beverages that I was deliberately over-served at your reception. I forgive you. I do remember getting slapped around that night though and moving two weeks later.
8 years! Wow. That's terrific. Three Faldons for the rest of them. Enjoy and congratulations. You too bff Jen.
Over-served!?!
Sir, I believe by the end of the night you were serving yourself.
Yeah, that night was a winner. Congratulations, Scott and Jen. When K and I are celebrating our
8th, you'll be celebrating your 16th!!

Things did get a little hazy that night...here is what I recall...
There was a really pretty woman in a white dress...I believe she had red hair...
The mayor was there...and said something...
Scott's dad encouraging a local news anchor and I to do tequila shots...said new anchor then putting on an Indian Head Dress...and standing next John L who was wearing a plastic police helmet...
Someone paid for the bar to stay open even later...
Things go black...
In all seriousness - Congrats guys...You are perfect for each other and you are perfect friends! I am sure next you will be perfect parents!
Yes, over-served. How else should I explain the damage to my liver.
LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!

Damage from the beating you took that night?
