Once again, Steelers > Cowboys

Once again, the mighty Steelers have bested the dirty, loathsome Cowboys. This time, it's in Sports Illustrated's stadium rankings. Pittsburgh's Heinz Field was rated second-best in the NFL, behind Green Bay's Lambeau Field.

Oh, what's that Cowboys fans? You say the Cowboys will move to No. 1 when when that affront to good taste that Jerry Jones is building opens next season? Not so fast.

According to the survey, Cowboys fans themselves said Dallas fans aren't that smart when it comes to football. A whopping 6.8 percent said their fellow Dallas fans had "Poor" or "Below Average" football IQs. That's compared to just 3.9 percent of Steelers fans.

A belated happy birthday

Sean, I'm sorry I forgot to blog about your birthday. I should have.

So a happy belated birthday to my friend and yours Sean [redacted by the Secret Service].

As you know, Sean is a [redacted] who works for [redacted] in Washington D.C. But don't let his Capitol Hill gig fool you, Sean is good people, especially when he's not taunting me about the availability of Yuengling (a great beer), even though he roots for the Dallas Cowboys.

So next time you need a tour of [some building in D.C.], Sean is your man. He'll even work cheap, you just have to ply him with cold beers after the tour.

Cheers, Sean.

Am I crazy for liking these pants?

From the new Orvis catalog ...

Tell me I wouldn't be stylin' and profilin' in those. Sean Brown could never top a pair of shamrock pants.

Obviously, I'm not paying $129 for them, which is the current price. How low should the price drop before I order a pair? $50?

UPDATE

Angie mentioned it in the comments, so i checked. Yes, these glorious pants are also available as shorts ... for $79.

Now that's playoff football (part II)

Every NFL playoff season should also include the Cowboys head coach (whoever it is) and owner Jerry "Nip/Tuck" Jones feeling the agony of defeat.
