Took my niece to see it last night so mom could go play bridge.
I give it a C.
An older kid probably would have liked it better. Erin spent most of the movie playing with her bracelet that lit up when you press a button.
(Sorry for the lack of posts, but this Fort Smith Classic drama is wearing me out.)

Indiana Jones
As many of you know, I'm not big on going to the movie theater. I'm kind of the anti-JohnL.
Between the cost and the damned kids yapping on their cell phones, it's just not as fun as it should be. (Somebody should build a nobody under 21 theater in Fort Smith that serves beer. I might go to more movies then.)
Anyway, I might have to break down and go see this on a big screen ...

The Quiet Man
The best part about February and March? "The Quiet Man" plays on all the movie channels. It was just on TCM as part of the 31 Days of Oscar since it won John Ford the best director award
If Jen is flipping around and sees "16 Candles" or "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" (two lousy 80s movies). If I'm flipping around and see John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara, I stop.
And even though I've seen it hundreds of times and know the lines by heart, that Michaleen Flynn (the little guy who plays matchmaker in the village and is the bookie during the climatic fight) always makes me laugh. I could watch this movie once a week.
